カリフォルニアの砂漠のリゾート地パーム・スプリングスを舞台にしたタイムループ・ラブコメディ。パーム・スプリングスで行われた結婚式に出席したナイルズと花嫁の介添人のサラ。ナイルズのサラへの猛烈なアタックから2人は次第にロマンティックなムードになるが、謎の老人に突然弓矢で襲撃され、ナイルズが肩を射抜かれてしまう。近くの洞窟へと逃げ込むナイルズとサラは、洞窟の中で赤い光に包まれ、目覚めると結婚式当日の朝に戻っていた。状況を飲み込むことができないサラがナイルズを問いただすと、彼はすでに何十万回も「今日」を繰り返しているという。「ブリグズビー・ベア」のアンディ・サムバーグが主人公サム役を演じ、「ウルフ・オブ・ウォールストリート」に出演したクリスティン・ミリオティ、「セッション」でアカデミー助演男優賞を受賞したJ・K・シモンズらが顔をそろえる。監督は本作が長編監督デビューとなるマックス・バーバコウ。

Paul and Leah, are caught in the throes of an extramarital affair. Knowing that the situation is untenable, they decide to rent a house and turn their backs on “real life” one last time before calling it quits. As the weekend progresses, Paul reveals he has left his wife and wants to convince Leah to do the same.
