Army Major RUBEN MEDRANO was once a part of an elite anti-kidnapping task force. An unfortunate incident during an operation got him suspended and sent back to Manila. There he tries to renew ties with his daughter MARISSA who has been living with his dead wives sister MARIEL. Marissa refuses to recognize her father because of all his shortcomings in the past. Nevertheless, Ruben decides to remain in the area. He soon discovers the presence of drug pushers and decides to do something about them. The drug lord who controls these pushers hires a hit-man named CARLOS to hunt down Ruben for meddling in his affairs. Soon the small community turns into a war-zone a Ruben tries to defend himself and those close to him from the attacks of these gangsters.

FLAMES is former TV a teen-oriented drama series and becomes a movie that is divided into two separate episodes. She has a cynical perception of love thus when she learns of her classmate Butch’s feelings for her, she takes it negatively. Butch on the other hand, is a poor boy who is too nervous to handle his feelings for Leslie believing he does not have any chance of making her like him. Episode 2: Pangako Karina is a young breadwinner who raised her family when her mother Dona Amparo stopped taking care of them at the death of her husband. Joel is a young delivery boy who falls in love with Karina’s meekness. As their love blooms Karina’s responsibility as a sister and daughter will stand in their way.

This movie has two episodes depicted from investigative crime show. Each episode speaks of grotesque deaths, betrayal, and the family members of the victims’ pursuit for justice. Episode 1 : Balintuwad It is the story of an epileptic fifteen-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted and later on drowned to death by a group of unknown men. As the rape-slay case comes to close, investigation reveals that the suspects are schoolteachers, who are expected to enhance a good future for children. Episode 2: Inay, May Momo, A young mother and her daughter’s nightmare begin when the husband is man-slaughtered by the mother’s other lover. The widowed wife files criminal case to imprison to killer however instead of surrendering the murderer chases down the mother and her distraught daughter to make them drop the charges against him.

A homeless little girl named Rosalie saves an abducted rich selfish brat Nikka. Rosalie gets shot when one of the goons opens a fire. To extend their gratitude for Rosalie’s bravery, Nikka’s mother adopts the lesser fortunate child. However, instead of being thankful Nikka treats Rosalie harshly which pushes the latter to go back and join her fellow street children.
