スマホに搭載されたある機能により、スマホにストーキングされてしまう男を描いたコメディ。監督、脚本は「ハングオーバー！ 消えた花ムコと史上最悪の二日酔い」の脚本家コンビ、ジョン・ルーカスとスコット・ムーア。子どもの頃からスマホ依存症で、恋人も友だちもいないフィルが、スマホを機種変更した。新しいスマホにはすべての個人情報を把握し、生活すべてをコーチングする機能「ジェクシー」が搭載されていた。うだつの上がらないフィルの生活のすべてを一方的にコーチングするジェクシーに、フィルは振り回されるが、やがてジェクシーのおかげで恋人ができ、生活は劇的に変化していく。しかし、ジェフに恋人ができた途端に嫉妬に狂ったジェクシーが豹変し……。人気コメディアンのアダム・ディバインがフィル役を演じるほか、アレクサンドラ・シップ、マイケル・ペーニャらが脇を固める。ジェクシーの声は「ピーターラビット」シリーズのローズ・バーンが担当した。
