'BEATBOX COLOMBIA' follows young musicians from the ghettos. Their lyrics speak of daily life; civil war, street violence, corruption, drugs and the disappearance of close friends. Despite everything, they cling to hope and this they express through their music. The film is made in 8 mm and DVCAM and includes Flash Animations. Some of the footage is shot by the musicians themselves. The power of Latin American hip-hop street life confronts the horror of the Columbian war.

Marco Poloni's family owns a bakery in the Bronx and it seems that they have fallen on hard times and his family is considering selling the bakery. Marco then decides to enter a baking competition hoping that the money and publicity will help them. Joshua and his father are among the Jewish prisoners in a concentration camp. When the assistant leader of their work crew is gunned down by mistake, the sadistic leader offers Joshua his place. He takes it, but at what price to his heritage and family?
