ハウスメイトのキャリーとフィン、そしてジャスパー。3人は偶然に、向いに住んでいた科学者が死亡しているを発見する。
部屋に立ち入り目にしたものは、壁一面に張り出された無数のポラロイド写真と、巨大なマシン。そのマシンは“24時間後"を映し出す、巨大ポラロイドカメラであった。その奇妙な現実に気づいた3人は、そのマシンを自分本位に使用し出す。
自称画家のフィンは、24時間後の自分がどんな傑作を描いているか見ようとし、ドッグレース狂のジャスパーは24時間後に既に発表されている結果を元に、レースを当てまくる。
ある日、ポラロイドカメラは3人の仲に亀裂が入りかねない、“都合の悪い"未来をうつし出してしまう。それを発見したキャリーはそのポラロイド写真を抹消し、自分の未来を少しずつ変えていこうとする。
