略歴

Shunta Nakamura (中村 俊太, Nakamura Shunta, born July 26, 1977) is a former Japanese actor and golf instructor from Tokyo. He was born as the eldest son of actor and singer Masatoshi Nakamura (中村 雅俊) and actress Junko Igarashi (五十嵐 淳子). He has three younger sisters, the youngest of which is Risa Nakamura (中村 里砂), a fashion model and actress. His activities seemed to be going well, but on April 4, 2009, he was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department's Takaido Police Station for violating the Cannabis Control Act for possessing cannabis on the streets of Suginami Ward, Tokyo. On April 5, his father, Masatoshi Nakamura, held a press conference and announced that Shunta would be fired from his agency, where Nakamura himself serves as president, and that he would retire from the entertainment world. On April 14, he was released as a suspended prosecution, considering that he was a first offender and had a very small amount (less than 1 gram), and that he was regretting it. According to the press, an apology conference was scheduled to be held at a later date, but the conference was not actually held. In October 2011, it was reported that he was introduced by an acquaintance and was working as an instructor at a golf school in Minato, Tokyo. Regarding his return to the entertainment world, he said that it was not something he should do at the moment.
