全国で若者たちが学生運動を起こしていた混沌の1969年。仙台に暮らす女子高校生の響子は、親友レイコたちと時代に流されながら制服廃止闘争委員会を結成、学校を相手に革命闘争を行なっていた。そんなある日、彼女はレイコに連られ、クラシックが流れる喫茶店“無伴奏”に初めて足を踏み入れる。そこで彼女は大学生の渉と祐之介、同じ高校生のエマと出会う。彼らと意気投合した響子は席が隣になった渉に好意を抱く。
