12年9月11日、リビアの港湾都市ベンガジにあるアメリカ領事館が、イスラム過激派の武装集団に占拠された。領事館のほど近くにあるCIAの拠点アネックスは救援要請を傍受するが、アネックスの存在自体が極秘であるため手を出すことができない。アネックスに派遣されていた軍事組織GRSの6人の警備兵たちも待機命令を受けるが、領事館を取り巻く状況が緊迫していくのを見過ごすことができず、任意で救援活動に乗り出す。
