In the year 298 from the era of the gods, elementary school girls Washio Sumi, Nogi Sonoko, and Minowa Gin are tasked with an important mission. They are to become heroes and fight Vertex, a mysterious enemy that is attacking Shinju-sama, the god tree that protects Shikoku, the only area in the world that is still habitable. 前掲のように、”近未来の京都で生まれた、人とロボットの奇跡のラブストーリー”である。公式サイトでは、恋人であるハルと死別したくるみのもとへ、「ロボハル」（ハルによく似たロボット）ことキューイチ（Q01）が赴き、心の支えとなる旨のストーリーとされている。しかし、実際には、帰らぬ人となったのはくるみであり、恋人を失ったハルは心を閉ざし、自分をロボットと思い込む。ハルは「ロボハル」としてくるみのもとへ赴き、キューイチはくるみとしてハルを出迎える。
