Ken Jennings

Grace, Daniel and Eamon, their hyperactive son, spoiled by his mother, envied by his father, go on vacation to an Irish coastal town for a few days, without money but plenty of hidden feelings inside them that they are unable to express.

An animated film from 1999 based on the famous novel by George Orwell. Animals on a farm lead a revolution against the farmers to put their destiny in their own hands. However this revolution eats their own children and they cannot avoid corruption.

原作者C・ブラウンの実話を映画化した作品。生まれながらの重度の脳性小児麻痺により、左足が少し動かせるだけで、後は植物人間同様の生活を余儀なくされている不遇の主人公が、その絶え間ざる努力の末、やがて言語能力を取り戻し、わずかに動く左足を使い絵を描けるようになるまで成長していく姿を描く。
