「力の大会」が終わり、宇宙にはまだまだ見たことのない強者がいることを知った悟空は、さらなる高みを目指して修行に明け暮れていた。そんなある日、悟空とベジータの前に、見たことがないサイヤ人のブロリーが現れる。地獄から再び舞い戻ったフリーザを巻き込み、悟空、ベジータ、ブロリーという3人のサイヤ人の壮絶な戦いが始まる。
