略歴

Born in 1986 in Yokohama. He graduated in 2009 from the Department of Graphic Design, Tama Art University, and in 2012 from the Department of Animation, Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. He is a freelance animation director and illustrator. His 2012 film, "A Wind Egg", was awarded the Lotte Reiniger Promotion Award for Animated Film at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film. Other films include the collaborative work "Orchestra" (2008) and "Animal Dance" (2009). His work has been shown at animation festivals in Hiroshima, Toronto, Ottawa, and Annecy.

The film is about a family, that runs a chicken farm. The boy hankers after birds and his little sister keeps an eye on him. The father loves eggs. The mother loves somebody else. In the family fixture, each member stays there with bias or secrets.

Walls

A man walks in a crowd. He cannot stand the crowd but to cover his ears. Then it disappears and he gets lost in a white void space. In that space there is no other man but himself. He had nothing to identify himself and his existence was to come to naught. He starts to struggle to get away from there.
