Two young crooks who scam betters in the race track are employed by a yakuza gang called the Shigemori Syndicate to steal a shipment of handguns from a rival gang. Somewhere in the process they find themselves on the run from their own gang and one of them becomes himself romantically entangled with the boss's girlfriend. An ambitious underboss of the gang offers them a way out if they murder the previous boss but things don't turn out as planned (for everyone).

表向きはタイピスト、裏では接待用のコールガールとして東京貿易に雇われている滝川玲子は、社員の吉岡との結婚資金稼ぎに森川部長とも密会を重ねていた。しかし、吉岡は森川から預かった書類を盗まれたのが原因で大阪への異動を命じられる。それを知った玲子は、森川に自分との肉体関係を公表すると脅し、吉岡の異動命令を取り消させると、手切金までせしめる。そして玲子は自分が所属する売春組織に行き、ボスの瀬川に脱会を迫るが逆に殺されてしまう。玲子殺害を知り、しかも自分が容疑者となっていることを知った吉岡は茫然と街を歩いていると、書類を盗んだ犯人・真弓と出会う。

The murder of the chief official of Kobe city's Customs triggers an investigation of a prostitution ring called the 'Yellow Line' that sells Japanese women. A hired assasin is betrayed by his organization, and kidnaps a woman who happens to be the girlfriend of a newspaper reporter.
