The recognition as a renowned Marathi actor, Prasad Oak, is something that I used to dream of. It has been more than two decades now when I started my struggle as an actor in the Marathi industry. I am a true Puneite, and the first few years in Mumbai were full of tuffle, hardships and sleepless nights; but diligence and extreme passion towards my goal never let me give up. Today, when I look back to what I have achieved through all these years, I see an experience of more than 29 Marathi plays, over 74 daily soaps, and around 93 Marathi & Hindi films tapping my back! Although sounds quite unbelievable to me now, this is what the past more than 20 years has given me in this industry. Adhantar, Naandi, Ranangan, Bechki Wada Chirebandi, and many other plays strengthened me as an actor; whereas Bandini, Damini, Wadalvaat Pimpal Paan and Avaghachi Sansar were crucial in building up an efficient daily soap artist. After a stable career at theatre, television and silver screen, Zee Marathi's celebrity singing reality show turned out to be a milestone for me. I won the show title to become the first-ever Anijkyatara, and after that, Zee Marathi's first-ever brand ambassador. And then, there was no look back!

Maharashtra has a very well known history and in that, the period of Shivaji Maharaj is of pride to us all. Adilshah from Bijapur was the strongest enemy of Shivaji Maharaj and the ruler of Konkan and Maharashtra. Shivaji established Swaraj in these parts and set the people free from Adilshah's slavery. And hence, he became Shivaji's biggest enemy. Adilshah later, declared a war against Shivaji Maharaj and captured the Panhala fort. After several attempts for recapturing the fort, Shivaji Maharaj failed. Adilshah, being a tricky politician, appointed the brutal Beshakh Khan as the guardian of the fort. The illegal and immoral acts of Beshakh Khan was against Swaraj and a hurdle for the coronation of Shivaji Maharaj. To stop him and capture the fort of Panhala was now an issue of prestige for Shivaji Maharaj. Farzand is the movie about Shivaji Maharaj's 60 great warriors lead by Kondaji Farzand, which portrays their great achievements in capturing Panhala fort.

Based on a novel written by legendary Marathi writer Shri. Jaywant Dalvi, Kaccha Limbu is set in the 80's. Mr. Katdare and his wife Shaileja live with their mentally unstable son. While Mr. Katdare works perpetual night shifts at the telegraph office, Shaileja works for a private firm. Their son, Bacchu, is now 16 years old and his growing age and sexuality are a cause of concern for this couple, especially Shaileja. Mr. Katdare tries to find the solution for his problems in death, while Shaileja, in her quest for happiness, finds herself drifting towards her benign boss Mr. Pandit. How this couple, who is on the verge of getting lost in the quagmire of their circumstances, fight their way back to sanity and togetherness is a heart warming story of this film, Kaccha Limbu, which is a term used on the Indian playgrounds to signify the underdog.

7 Roshan Vila is a suspense thriller and a revenge story.
