Spain, April 14, 1931. The Second Republic is born. From the beginning, the writer Miguel de Unamuno is considered one of the ethical pillars of the new regime. Five years later, on December 31, 1936, a few months after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), Unamuno dies at his home in Salamanca, capital of the rebel side, led by General Francisco Franco, and main center of dissemination of its propaganda apparatus.

A man finds himself at the bottom of a well. No clue as to how he got there. Then, a figure leans in at the top.

Amador seems to be the perfect husband and doting father. Nobody would ever imagine that, on one fateful afternoon, Amador is about to lose everything for wanting to be just himself. He wants to try something new on his son's birthday and it all goes terribly wrong.

Víctor is a film director who is overcome by his own misfortunes. He is an alcoholic, unemployed and terribly depressed, largely because of the death of his wife. However, Victor is still the best in one thing: telling fantastic stories to his nine-year-old son, Ingmar. These stories are each of the scripts he dreams of directing in the future, when he gathers all the necessary resources. Victor and Ingmar share a present full of sadness and precariousness, but also full of robots and locations of films they have seen together. Despite forming a great team, their problems will multiply when others begin to question their role as a father.

France, beginning of World War II. Hélène Studler is a nun who has been dedicated to the care of orphans and the abandoned people. But the times have changed, the people are living a whole revolt, the Germansoldiers have entered their city and the reality that now faces far exceeds the harshness to which they are accustomed: Hélène discovers that near her locality, the Nazis have installed a concentration camp. Along with some people of the city, several of her Sisters Daughters of Charity plot a whole plan to free the captives from their tragic end.

While carrying a mysterious package, Mikel notices he is being followed by a black car. In an attempt to get away, he ends up at a roadside bar where he meets Sara, a girl who doesn't trust easily.

冷戦下の旧ソ連で極秘に進められていた“プロジェクト12”。それはヒトのDNAから病気の要因を取り除き、強靱で完璧な肉体を持つ兵士を生産するためのサイボーグ計画だった。事故の連続で約半世紀前に研究は放棄されたかと思われたが、ロシア内の封印された地下施設にその成果が隠されているらしいと判明する。プロジェクトを追っていた米国の軍需企業は最強の傭兵チームを雇い、要塞のようなその施設へ向かわせる。
