Spain, April 14, 1931. The Second Republic is born. From the beginning, the writer Miguel de Unamuno is considered one of the ethical pillars of the new regime. Five years later, on December 31, 1936, a few months after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), Unamuno dies at his home in Salamanca, capital of the rebel side, led by General Francisco Franco, and main center of dissemination of its propaganda apparatus.

Víctor is a film director who is overcome by his own misfortunes. He is an alcoholic, unemployed and terribly depressed, largely because of the death of his wife. However, Victor is still the best in one thing: telling fantastic stories to his nine-year-old son, Ingmar. These stories are each of the scripts he dreams of directing in the future, when he gathers all the necessary resources. Victor and Ingmar share a present full of sadness and precariousness, but also full of robots and locations of films they have seen together. Despite forming a great team, their problems will multiply when others begin to question their role as a father.

France, beginning of World War II. Hélène Studler is a nun who has been dedicated to the care of orphans and the abandoned people. But the times have changed, the people are living a whole revolt, the Germansoldiers have entered their city and the reality that now faces far exceeds the harshness to which they are accustomed: Hélène discovers that near her locality, the Nazis have installed a concentration camp. Along with some people of the city, several of her Sisters Daughters of Charity plot a whole plan to free the captives from their tragic end.

В начале семидесятых годов в самый разгар Холодной войны Советский Союз вёл инновационные разработки разрушительного оружия, способного в один миг прекратить войну и изменить ход человеческой истории. Для работ над Проектом 12 были привлечены лучшие умы Союза, трудившиеся сутки напролёт над непобедимой машиной - армией солдат с невероятными способностями, которых не берут ни пули, ни время. В итоге руководство сочло Проект 12 слишком опасным и закрыло его, приказав убить всех участвовавших в разработке учёных, чтобы сохранить секрет от мира. Троим удалось сбежать из под огня и скрыться, а Проект 12 был захоронен в особо охраняемом подземном бункере, заброшенном в пустыне много лет назад.
