Piotr Zlotorowicz first graduated from the from the Szczecin University of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering. He entered the Polish National Film School in Lodz to pursue directing. He is known for his student films "Charcoal Burners" and "Normal People", which have screened at hundreds of international film festivals, garnering significant acclaim in the form of dozens of festival awards.
