Spain, late 1980s. Newcomer Sara tries to fit in with the other teens in this tight-knit small town in the province of Tarragona. If only she were more like her extroverted best friend, Rebe. They go out one night at a nightclub, on the way home, they come upon a little girl holding a doll, dressed for her first communion. And that's when the nightmare begins.

Laura, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires, returns to her hometown outside Madrid with her Argentinian husband and children. However, the trip is upset by unexpected events that bring secrets into the open.

父を亡くしたベロニカは、働き詰めの母親の代わりに、毎日幼い弟妹の世話をしていた。そんなある日、マドリードの街に日食が訪れ、学校の生徒たちが屋上へと観察に向かう。一方ベロニカは、同級生と地下室にこもり、降霊術の文字盤を使って霊を呼び出そうとしていた。母親に甘えられず寂しさを感じていたベロニカは、亡き父の霊と話したかったのだ。しかし、上空で月と太陽が重なった瞬間、突然文字盤が割れベロニカは気絶してしまう。その日から、ベロニカの周囲で奇妙な出来事が起こり始める。そして、どこからか彼女の名前を呼ぶ声がこだまするが…。

Why? To raise funds to help victims of a terrible earthquake in Africa. This happens many times: that professional teams, or football stars, organize charity matches. What had never happened before is that the game is played by children. The proposal has been an initiative of UNICEF and FIFA.

Like the four seasons, the love history of four friends is recounted at 4 different times. One doesn't love her husband anymore, another is a single mother, the next one has an unfaithful husband and finally there is room for the shy spinster too.
