Subhajit Singha (January 15, 1984) is an Indian Film Editor. Having studied animation, Subhajit proceeded with his interest in film editing. He started his career as an assistant Editor. His first feature film as an editor, 'Cinemawala', directed by Kaushik Ganguly was highly appreciated at international and national platforms. This first film got him accolades and Best Editor Awards. Since then, Subhajit has been an editor on several major movies from Calcutta and also the award winning films like Bishorjon, Nagarkirtan,Tarihk, Cinemawala. Apart from editing, he is known for his commitment to a project, in various stages of post production work. Subhajit has been nominated for Filmfare East and Bengali Film Journalists Association a couple of times for his films like Cinemawala and Macher Jhol. He also won the BFJA award for Cinemawala, Best Editor award in Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA) and Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival for Tarikh(2019).
