Trailer Park Princess is the story of Claire, a young woman thrust too early into adulthood, and her 12-year old sister Audrey. Both of them struggle to survive the hardships of life growing up in poverty with only each other to depend on.

ボストン郊外で便利屋をしている孤独な男リー（ケイシー・アフレック）は、兄ジョー（カイル・チャンドラー）の急死をきっかけに故郷マンチェスター・バイ・ザ・シーに戻ってくる。兄の死を悲しむ暇もなく、遺言で16歳になるおいのパトリック（ルーカス・ヘッジズ）の後見人を引き受けた彼は、おいの面倒を見るため故郷の町に留まるうちに、自身が心を閉ざすことになった過去の悲劇と向き合うことになり……。
