長い戦いで世界が荒廃し、死の神ゴス・アズール復活をたくらむ闇の勢力シャドウが力を増していた。そんな中、エルフ族の賞金稼ぎネミットは、お尋ね者のオークを捕らえた際に闇の呪いをかけられてしまう。手首に刻まれたシャドウの刻印が、じわじわと心をむしばんでいくのだ。やがて彼女は、呪いの解除を条件に人間の騎士ケルタスの仲間となり、裏切りで一族を追われたオークの戦士クルモンを加えた3人でシャドウと闘うことになる。
