霊媒師を引退して隠居生活を送っていた老女エリーズのもとに、あるとき、亡き母と話したいという高校生の少女クインが訪ねてくる。一度は引退したと依頼を断わるエリーズだったが、クインの真摯な態度に同情し、交霊術を試みることに。だが母親の霊を呼び出す声を聞きつけ、悪霊がクインに近寄ってしまう。交霊を中止し、クインに警告を与えるエリーズだったが、その日からクインの周囲では奇怪な現象が連続するようになる。
