「モンスター上司」のチャーリー・デイと、俳優としても活躍する人気ラッパーのアイス・キューブが教師役で共演した学園コメディ。卒業式の日を迎えたルーズベルト高校。気の弱い英語教師キャンベルは、毎年恒例の卒業イタズラや、予算カットによる解雇の恐怖に不安を募らせていた。そんな中、鬼教師として恐れられる歴史教師ストリックランドを思いがけず怒らせてしまったキャンベルは、ストリックランドから決闘を言い渡される。その噂は瞬時に学校中に広まり、キャンベルは大ピンチに陥ってしまう。

2004年イラク戦争。味方を助けるため、危険を顧みずに飛び交う銃弾の中に身を投じたビリー・リン(ジョー・アルウィン)。その雄姿が偶然ニュースにとりあげられたことで国の英雄になった彼とチームは、一時帰国の間に全米凱旋ツアーに駆り出される。故郷の歓迎に再出兵をためらう気持ちが芽生えるビリーであったが、同時にその歓迎への疑念も生じる。そして、いよいよ戦地へ戻る前日、ツアー最大の目玉となる感謝祭のアメリカン・フットボールのハーフタイムイベントに迎えられたビリー。大歓声の中、彼は戦地を回想する…。
