アクション・ゲーム「フィックス・イット・フェリックス」の敵キャラを30年間も演じているラルフ。人々から嫌われている状況にうんざりしていた彼は、自分のゲームの世界を抜け出してお菓子だらけの世界でレースが繰り広げられるゲーム「シュガー・ラッシュ」の世界へ。そこで彼は、仲間外れにされてレースに出ることを禁止されている少女ヴァネロペと出会う。お互いに孤独を抱えていた彼らは意気投合し、友情を深めていくように。だが、違うゲームのキャラクター同士が遭遇することはゲーム世界のおきてに背く行為であった。
