Kawamura Shunsuke works for a real estate company. He is usually first at first when it comes to sales. He is respected by his boss and colleagues. Kawamura Shunsuke is also set to marry the daughter of the CEO of his company. His life is going great by every metric one can think of. On the day before his wedding, his colleagues hold a surprise party for him. On his way home from the party, Kawamura Shunsuke falls into a deep manhole. When he wakes up, it is late at night and he struggles to get out of the manhole. His wedding is also fast approaching.

34歳の彩は、20歳年上で、小学校で“給食のおじさん”として働く伊藤さんとアパートで同棲している。ある日、兄夫婦の家を追い出された父親＝お父さんがボストンバッグと謎の小さな箱を持って突然アパートにやって来る。彩、伊藤さん、お父さんの共同生活が始まるが、日がたつうち、伊藤さんとお父さんの間に奇妙な友情が芽生えていく。だが3人が一つの家族になりかけたとき、お父さんが置き手紙を残して家を出てゆく。
