Malena is an attractive woman, psychoanalyst of profession and tango dancer by devotion. One night she kills accidentally a man and decides to hide her crime. Days after, she sees in the news the man’s wife and little daughter: he was a policeman. In her plan, Malena meets Carlos, work companion of the dead policeman who is investigating his disappearance. He is of Vasc origin and they call him “the Sabina,” because sometimes he answers using phrases of the songs of the artist. A strange fascination captures Malena with “the Sabina,” the man who has to discover the crime she committed and take her to prison. Since the beginning, the relationship between them is passionate and transgressor, without moral limits.

Luciano works in birthday parties and writes his first feature when friend Manuel returns from Spain to repeat his TV show, "The Paranoids", together with his girl Sofia. Manuel is everything he is not and his trying to be helpful in his career and with women, only worsens the conflict. When Manuel leaves Sofia with Luciano for two days, she is seduced by the qualities Manuel rejects in his friend as weaknesses. Sofia changes. Luciano also, but only at the last moment he can overcome the fears he has been cultivating his whole life.

Gabriel and Sergio meet at the psychiatric hospital where they are interned. Gabriel is a rebellious and violent young man marginalized by society. Sergio is a programmer and systems analyst and has an enviable attitude to fight against life. Soon the promise of fighting against injustice unites them.

Cusi is a 20th century Incan boy who lives in a high mountain valley with an old llama herder named Chuto. Chuto raised Cusi in a traditional Incan fashion, although the Spanish culture was prevalent in Peru since the conquest of the Incan Empire. Although eager for adventure, Cusi is still drawn to the home he has known all his life. Cusi sets out from his home to try to find a family, but discovers that Chuto is all the family he needs.

Clara Goldstein is a lovely, middle-aged Jewish woman who, because of an impending visit from her American brother, is forced to create a contrived relationship with a man of her own faith. She places an ad in a personals column and meets Raul, a well-spoken, handsome and charming man whom she soon discovers is a Gentile and does not fulfill her reason for placing the ad. Having no alternative, Clara proceeds to instruct Raul with an intensive course in Judaism. Their journey is both humorous and captivating, but not without pitfalls. These two mature people risk a last chance at a meaningful relationship in their lives.

Upon finding out that the bank where they work will go bankrupt, some employees decide to rob one of the institution's branches.
