So he buys some Ocean Pups, unhatched sea creatures that will look spectacular, but he hasn't bargained for the cloning agent that the unscrupulous manufacturers have put in the kit. エースは、動物にしか愛情を持てないペット探偵。スーパー・ボウルの開催がせまったある日、出場チームのマイアミ・ドルフィンズのマスコットであるイルカのスノーフレークが何者かに誘拐されてしまった。ドルフィンズの女性社員メリッサは、エースにスノーフレークの捜索を依頼する。エースが最初に犯人として目をつけたのは、大富豪ケンプ。ケンプの屋敷で開かれるパーティーで、やりたい放題好き勝手捜査したけれど、ケンプは犯人ではなかった。しかし、エースはこの時、犯人にたどりつくあるヒントを見つけていた。
