第2次世界大戦前夜の陸軍士官学校。上官の命令に背き、極刑となるはずだった嘉藤は、陸軍内に極秘裏に設立された諜報組織「D機関」の結城中佐に助けられる。数々の訓練を経て諜報員となった嘉藤は、初めての任務として、米国大使グラハムが持つ「ブラックノート」と呼ばれる機密文書を奪取するよう命じられる。しかし、そんな嘉藤の前にグラハムの愛人でもある謎の女リンが立ちふさがる。
