ニューヨーク自然史博物館の展示物に命を吹き込むエジプトの石板（タブレット）の魔力が消えかけていた。最悪の事態を回避すべく夜警のラリーと仲間たちは、石板の謎を解く鍵を求めロンドンの大英博物館へ向かう。一行はエッシャーのだまし絵に迷い込み、恐竜の化石や九つの頭を持つ大蛇に襲われ、ロンドン市街でチェイスを繰り広げるはめになる。
