Sometime, hopefully not too soon, in a place wherever but not here, all life will have moved underground after a failed uprising. Everybody wears a mask, more often than not of the variety seen only at Halloween these days. In this scary universe (that on closer inspection looks like a twisted, perverted version of our here and now...), a man with a gorilla mask is searching for a little boy with a hessian hood. His quest leads him into a maze of depravity, a pandemonium of all our nightmares and darkest desires – where something awaits that he had already given up on: love.

In the wake, among others, of Joris Ivens (the testamentary Une histoire de vent , 1989), Martin Putz seeks to frame the wind. Or the impossible bet, however successful, to capture its hypnotic manifestations, by filming the things and humans that stand in its way and use their driving forces.

"Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel", Martha and Alex should have taken Jim Morrison's advice to heart, but on their car ride through an idyllic landscape they are primarily occupied with themselves. Only when real life comes crashing into their small self-involved world in the shape of a little dog and its grim owner, do things get set in motion - more than they could have asked for. A devious road movie full of hefty surprises.

Soon, it seems, he's part of a society in which everyone looks like him and wears check vest. Can he get things back to normal?

A moonstruck comedy about lovers and robbers.

"Clouds Over Paradise" tells the story of Konrad, an inconspicuous little man. His life revolves around his job at a rundown bank and his only friend, a goldfish. Konrad's only means of escaping his drab life are bizarre daydreams and his subjective perceptions of an absurd world. This all changes one day when the beautiful Maria comes to the bank to close her account. The inept Konrad, who knows that his life is in need of a radical change, does everything to meet the woman of his dreams.
