ある電話ボックスに殺してほしい理由と連絡先を残すと、その“願い”を叶えてくれるという噂がSNS上で話題になっていた。ある日、金融会社社長が喫茶店で、町内会会長が公園で、ともに心不全で不審死を遂げる事件が発生する。刑事の多田は部下の百々瀬と現場で目撃された黒いスーツの男・宇相吹を追うが、彼は目を見ただけで相手を死に追いやるというマインドコントロールを使った犯行で、罪には問われない“不能犯”だった。
