数々の映画祭で数多くの賞を受賞し話題となったカナダ映画「人生、ブラボー！」のハリウッドリメイク作品。精子を提供した過去を持つために数百人の子どもの父親となった男の姿を描くハートフルコメディ。デヴィッドは父親が経営する精肉店で働く借金持ちの中年男。恋人のエマから妊娠を告げられるも、彼のダメッぷりに愛想を尽かしている彼女からはシングルマザーで育てると言われる始末。そんなある日、デヴィッドは過去に精子提供したことによりなんと533人の子供たちの父親であることが分かる。しかも、その内142人からは身元開示の裁判を起こされていたのだ！デヴィッドは友人の弁護士ブレットの協力により、身元を隠したまま子供たちに会いに行くのだが…。

2001年9月11日。ニューヨークは、いつもと同じ朝を迎えていた。港湾局警察に勤めるベテラン巡査部長のジョン・マクローリンや、同じく港湾局警察に勤めるウィル・ヒメノをはじめ、警察官たちも普通に業務を開始した。
だが、午前8時40分過ぎ、突如、タワー1（北棟）に、アメリカン航空11便が激突した。続いてタワー2（南棟）にも、ユナイテッド航空175便が激突。アメリカ国民だけでなく世界中の人が我が目を疑った。
ジョンたちは、上層階に取り残された人々を救出すべく、さらなる恐怖が迫っているとも知らずに部下たちと共にタワーへ向かった。

Cousins, Bo and Luke Duke, with the help of their eye-catching cousin, Daisy and moonshine-running Uncle Jesse, try and save the family farm from being destroyed by Hazzard County's corrupt commissioner, Boss Hogg.
