Thirty-year-old, unemployed Kenji (Kaku Tomohiro) spends his days listlessly at his parent's home, which is set to be torn down any day now. He relives his childhood when a third grader out for summer vacation nails Kenji with a water balloon, and Kenji fights back.

Yuri, Moeko, and Ai are best friends from high school. Though their twenties were about to end, they believed their eternal world would remain forever. In spite of their will, some misfortunate events such as love, betrayal, memory, regret, and one book with its secret exam their friendship. Those girls get lost in the unveiled story, which is filled with meeting and parting. Scattered life = scattered story will move on any further? A little journey begins now.
A barber, Kouichi, has married another barber, Aya, and lives in her parents' house. As Aya's parents run a barber-shop, her brother, Satoru. and father, Akira are also barbers. This shop was opened up by Akira, taken over by Aya and Kouichi, and supported together by Satoru who is going to get married soon. On a few days before Satoru's wedding, Kouichi recieves one mail.

There's a young couple, Haruka and Kenji. One day, Haruka gets disappointed in Kenji, and runs away with their son, Takuya. They forward to Kenji's friend, Mitsuru's house. Yet, Haruka asks her mother, Kiyoko to take care of Takuya, and starts her job hunting, since she can't get along with Mitsuru. On the other hand, there is another young couple, Takuma and Kana. Even though, they look happily married for two years, Takuma hides a secret from Kana. One day, Takuma's co-worker, Akita comes to Takuma's house. Akita suddenly tells one secret to Kana while Takuma is not around. Shocked Kana attempts to reveal the secret on Takuma's way home.
