幼いころに父が亡くなり母は行方をくらまし、さらに祖母がこの世を去ってふさぎ込んでいた八雲御子（池田エライザ）。そんな御子に叔父の雷土悟郎（オダギリジョー）は、住むところとアルバイトを紹介してくれた。アルバイトは、いわく付き物件に入居する“ルームロンダリング”の仕事だった。自殺して幽霊になった春日公比古（渋川清彦）と生活するようになった御子は、彼のデモテープをレコード会社へ送るよう頼まれ……。
