第1話「パパの立場もわかれ」多忙な良介は、旅行代理店勤務なのに家族を旅行にも連れて行けなかった。第2話「こわいお客様がイヤだ」深夜のコンビニでバイトする丸男はマナー知らずの客に悩まされていた。第3話「新しさについていけない」念願の新居を構えた新婚カップルだが、今どきの家電製品の進化に取り残される。第4話「女だけトシとるなんて」もうすぐ27歳になる理恵は、遠回しに年齢のせいで再就職を断わられ続ける。
