ソーヤー(クレア・フォイ)は、デヴィッド(ジョシュア・レナード)からの執拗(しつよう)なストーカー行為から逃れようと、母親にうそをついて引っ越しをする。しかし、精神的な苦痛は続き、ソーヤーはあるカウンセリング施設でカウンセラーと話をするが、強制的に入院させられてしまう。看護師や警察に助けを求めても誰も取り合ってくれない。そしてデヴィッドが施設の職員としてソーヤーの前に現れる。
