Aaron Schmidt is a student at Arizona State University majoring in Film Production. He is a director, editor and DP. He has dedicated his life toward making compelling and thought provoking stories. He is also the winner of Best Editing at the ASU 2017 Film Festival for his short film "Clean Sweep".

引っ越し直後で近所に友達がいない少年、アンディ(ガブリエル・ベイトマン)は、誕生日に母親(オーブリー・プラザ)からバディ人形をもらう。その人形は最先端テクノロジー企業・カスラン社の新商品で、音声認識やセンサー付きカメラなど高度な機能を備えていた。人形は“チャッキー”と名乗り、アンディに一番の親友だと話し掛ける。しかしこの人形は欠陥品だった。
