Amelia's Closet is a coming of age story about an 11-year-old girl from a low income background who lives with her hard working single father. At school, she is heavily bullied and often left feeling powerless. In attempt to reclaim a sense of power, she steals from the kids bullying her and hides the items in her closet. When she is caught, Amelia must learn the true meaning of empowerment.
