2007年、パレスチナの聖地ベツレヘムで、隣国イスラエルとの分断の象徴たる巨大な壁に、世界の各国から集まったアーティストたちが社会的抗議の意を込めて絵を描くというプロジェクトが敢行され、これにバンクシーも参加。しかし、彼の人気に目を付けたとある地元の有力者が、バンクシーの絵だけを壁から強引に切り離し、それをネット上のオークションサイトで高く売りさばこうと試みたことから、とんだ珍騒動が生じることに。
