For ten years, Eriko has been chasing her dream of becoming an actress in Tokyo. 東京の小さな離島。中学生の信之は、同級生の美花と付き合う一方、日ごろ父親に虐待される近所の小学生・輔から、兄のように慕われていた。信之はある晩、美花が神社の境内で見知らぬ男と抱き合っている姿を目の当たりにし、相手の男を殺害。その翌日、島は大津波に襲われ、信之の罪も消し去られたかに思われた。それから25年後、結婚して一見平和な日々を送る信之は、妻の南海子と不倫を働く輔と、思わぬ形で再会を果たす。
