史上最大級の泥棒を企てている嫌味な怪盗グルー。バナナでできた仲間のミニオンたちと共に、秘密基地のある家に住んでいた。月泥棒を企てるグルーたちだったが、ライバルの泥棒に大事な秘密兵器を盗まれてしまう。そこでライバルの家に出入りする孤児の3姉妹を利用しようとしたグルーだったが、なぜか3姉妹と共同生活を送ることとなり……。
