ウェイク率いる宇宙の残骸回収業者スカベンジャーズ。戦闘宙域にやって来た彼らは、ある船の残骸から高エネルギー反応を示す謎の物体を発見、回収する。だがそこへ、今は宿敵と化したかつての仲間ジェケルの船が現われる。その物体は強大な力を秘めたカオス・ジェネレーターと呼ばれるものであり、ジェケルは長年それを探し求めていた。ウェイクに先を越されたジェケルは力ずくでカオス・ジェネレーターを奪おうと攻撃を開始する。
