Sheikh Abdul-Al, the imam of Al-Shobokshi Mosque in Al-Batiniyya. The drug trafficker, which is home to a group of traders and drug dealers, is surrounded by a beautiful girl, Lee, who is chasing him in his dreams and is in a conflict between his desire and his faith. And it ends on her door.

An order is issued for the officer, Shebrawi, to accompany his friend, the thief Zanati, to prison in Cairo, and Zubaida to admit her to a mental hospital. Things don’t go as planned.

After we last see him in "Alexandria, Why?" Egyptian filmmaker Yehia Mourad is in his thirties, and successful in his work, he has grown distant from his wife and children and suffers a symbolic blockage of the heart while shooting the final scenes of his latest film. After being flown to England for evaluation, it's determined that Yehia must undergo emergency surgery. Fact and fiction blend seamlessly—with healthy doses of cleverly absurdist fantasy—as the film explores the various personalities and forces that have made Yehia (and Youssef Chahine) the man he has become.

Based on old Egyptian legend about El Naddaha (The caller), a nocturnal genie who takes form of a stunningly beautiful woman who seduces men who walk close the river Nile in order to hypnotize them.

Aziza, a poor migrant worker, struggles after her husband stops working due to an illness. Her life changes when she gets pregnant after being raped by a man.
