クリスマス休暇を常夏のフロリダで過ごそうと空港にやってきたマカリスター一家。ところが、なぜかケビンだけが間違えてニューヨーク行きの飛行機に乗ってしまい、またまた彼はひとりぼっちに。偶然にもクレジット・カードや現金の入った両親のカバンを持っていたことから、ちゃっかり高級ホテルで悠々自適の暮らしを楽しむケビンだが、そこでなんと、かつて撃退した泥棒コンビに再会してしまった。
