Bridges Over the Sea

Like every day, Alicia takes her son to school. Michael, a teenager overwhelmed by his mother's protection, knows that he can't do much. She is determined to prevent him from being recruited by gangs that spread terror in neighborhoods with invisible borders where every step taken has to be calculated. This is the story of Alicia, the day her son doesn't return from school, and of Michael, the day his miscalculated steps lead them both to the abyss.

The candidates Sandro Archila and Camilo Hernández, face each other to define who will be the next delegate in charge of the election, classification and programming of dance numbers of the local faire. After the public vote and after the private counting of the votes in the local primary school, the delegate of the vote together with the two candidates accompanied by their campaign teams, confirm that the result of the vote is a draw. With no time for another voting process they will have to find another way to elect the delegate.

Pastor's wife Veronica has become ill in bed, so he decides to sell his musical instrument secretly in order to buy the medicines she needs. After he sells it, Pastor arrives at home heartbroken, but he finds his wife in a better health condition. Veronica asks Pastor to play her a song with the instrument, so he will do what it takes to get it back.

It's Sunday, the day to shoo at the local market and Grandma Paulina wants to prepare creole hen to her husband, but the money is not enough. Without wishing it, she wins a Polaroid camera in a raffle, so, she proposes her husband to take pictures of their lives in the country. But the camera roll ends up and the hunger persists!
