　ホラー映画への出演が続く女優・原瀬京子はこの日、関わった者たちの悲惨な死や行方不明が後を絶たない“呪われた家”をレポートするテレビの特番にゲスト出演した。そしてその夜、フィアンセ・将志の車に乗り家路につく京子。だがその道中、彼の車は首都高速で猫を轢いてしまう。将志は猫の死体を処理せずに車を発進させるが、その時、車内には不気味な存在が紛れ込んでいた。その刹那、車は壁に激突して大破。将志は意識不明の重体に陥り、妊娠していた京子も重傷を負って流産してしまうのだった…。

　ある日、介護ボランティアをする女子大生の仁科理佳は、寝たきりの老婆・徳永幸枝の様子を見るためその家を訪れた。理佳は何か不気味な雰囲気を感じつつも家の中へと入っていく。悪臭が漂い物が散乱する中を進み、一階の薄暗い部屋で幸枝を発見する理佳だったが…。数日前、幸枝の息子・勝也が帰宅すると妻が倒れていた。この家に引っ越して以来、一家は不吉なことに見舞われ続けていた。やがて勝也の妹・仁美が不審に思いこの家にやって来るが、どこか様子のおかしい勝也に門前払いされてしまう。これを機に、仁美にも不吉なことが憑きまとうようになり…。

次々に波及していく呪いの恐怖を描くオカルト・ホラーの続編。監督・脚本は前作に続いて清水崇が担当。撮影も、前作と同じく木次信仁があたっている。出演は、「菊次郎の夏」の大家由祐子、「ＨＡＮＡ－ＢＩ」の芦川誠、「四月物語」の藤井かほりら。VTR作品。ビデオプロジェクターによる上映。

じゅおん【呪怨】つよい怨みを抱いて死んだモノの呪い。それは、死んだモノが生前に接していた場所に蓄積され、「業」となる。その呪いに触れたものは命を失い、新たなる呪いが生まれる……。妻の出産を間近に控えた小学校教師の小林は、長期欠席中の生徒・俊雄の家庭訪問に出かけた。そこで、彼は俊雄が大学時代の同窓生・伽椰子の息子であることを知り、さらに伽椰子が小林への偏執的な想いを秘めた日記と彼女の変死体を発見する。恐怖におののき逃げ出そうとする小林。だが、彼は伽椰子の夫・剛雄に妻とお腹の子を惨殺され、また自らも伽椰子の呪怨によって殺されてしまう。それから後、惨劇のあった同じ家に引っ越してきた村上家にも不幸が起こる。長女・柑菜の家庭教師・由紀と長兄の強志が行方不明になり、柑菜と母親の典子も呪怨によって惨殺されたのだ。そして数年後、しばらく空家になっていたその家に北田夫婦が引っ越してきた。家を売った不動産屋・鈴木達也の妹で霊感のある響子は、その夫婦が心配になり様子を伺いに行くが、良美を見た途端、彼女は不吉な空気を感じるのであった……。

Two schoolgirls, Hisayo Yoshida and Kanna Murakami, who are tasked with caring for their school's pet rabbits, are sweeping the cages and feeding the animals when Kanna cuts her hand, so Hisayo leaves her alone to go get bandages. (A prequel to the first version of Ju-on, 2000.)
