Suspense.

Fukami, a secretary engaged to company president Kaido, her employer, is invited by his close friends, the Nogis, to a three-day-two-night tour. The tour group is traveling in a luxurious coach to Lake Megami in the Tateshina Plains. On the way, they are disturbed to hear that Shirai, a hostess who was supposed to come along on the tour, has been murdered. And the next day, the body of Hasegawa, another tour member, is floating in Lake Megami...

社長の息子は35にもなって独身。社長秘書と結婚を決意し愛人と別れようとするが事件が起きる。

Natsuko is witnessed carrying on an affair with her boss, Misawa, by the unmarried Chieko. However, Chieko dies by falling and is found about ten days later in the shrubbery in front of the company. It is revealed that Chieko led a flashy private life and frequented a host club. Moreover, it seems that she was having an affair with Division Chief Yamazaki.

覚えのない当て逃げ容疑で捕まった桃次郎は、その誤解がもとで女性トラック運転手の夏と知り合う。勝ち気な彼女に反発を覚える桃次郎だが、やがて野性的な夏のとりこになっていく。一方、材木運輸を手伝っていたジョナサンが慣れない道で事故を起こし、桃次郎が代役を務めることに。木曽の山中にある運送会社を訪ねた桃次郎は、なんとそこで夏と再会。彼女はその運送会社の社長の養女だった。
