Victoria, a former operative, is getting used to a normal life with her beloved husband, a psychologist. But after being attacked by a criminal in the service, she cannot have children. The couple decide to take six-year-old Dasha, whose parents died in a fire, to their place for the weekend. And then strange events begin to happen in their country house. The girl behaves secretly and sometimes aggressively, draws scary pictures and spoils toys. In her drawings, Vika guesses the victims of that same criminal, now she is absolutely sure: the villain is alive, and he is somewhere nearby.

Grigory Pomerantz did all the war from 1941 to 1945, roamed the Stalingrad circle, was in all the hottest battles, went all the way to Berlin. His observations and reflections on the meaning of war and man caught in the war are shocking. Nobody had thought of this way in the Great Patriotic War.

The film is dedicated to the work of one of the most famous Russian composers, the author of the first Soviet rock opera Alexander Zhurbin. The 4 episodes tell about the different facets of the composer's work, about symphonic music, about musical theater, about cinema, about pop songs. The film is built as a monologue of the protagonist, the shooting was carried out in Moscow, Tashkent, New York, St. Petersburg. The composer's wife, poet and translator Irina Ginzburg, and the son, composer Lev Zhurbin, take part in the film.

Once upon a time, a stage director with German surname Dell read from Saltykov-Shchedrin that «Skopin is such city where any person has no reason to dwell». So he decided to create a real theatre there, in Ryazan region, in a small provincial town, «where any person has no reason to dwell».
