エースは、動物にしか愛情を持てないペット探偵。スーパー・ボウルの開催がせまったある日、出場チームのマイアミ・ドルフィンズのマスコットであるイルカのスノーフレークが何者かに誘拐されてしまった。ドルフィンズの女性社員メリッサは、エースにスノーフレークの捜索を依頼する。エースが最初に犯人として目をつけたのは、大富豪ケンプ。ケンプの屋敷で開かれるパーティーで、やりたい放題好き勝手捜査したけれど、ケンプは犯人ではなかった。しかし、エースはこの時、犯人にたどりつくあるヒントを見つけていた。

8年前、森の中で行方不明になっていた少年が、当時の姿のまま帰ってきた。その頃NASAでは、奇怪なUFOの調査を行っていたが、少年の失踪にはUFOが関係していた事が判明する......。
