Five brothers first opened the bar "Onis" in 1976 after migrating to Madrid in the early 1970's from a village in the North of Spain. The possibility of making money brought them into the hospitality business in the big city. Since the opening of the "Onis" forty years ago, they have worked together almost every single day.

Kilian (24) and Thomas (26) are successful poker players and part of a clique of German players who have met over the years during various poker events. Alternating between live and online poker they are in limbo between the daily ups and downs of the game, between winning and losing.

A man in his early 70s recalls the time when his young lover got caught in a firestorm and her hallucinations grew stronger and stronger. Jardín en el Mar is the story of an exceptional project. Several years ago, a group of enthusiastic and committed people started to work for the protection of the Islands in the Sea of Cortez in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Thanks to this effort all the Islands became a UNESCO world heritage side, but the story of Espíritu Santo island is especially remarkable. It was bought back from different owners and donated to the people of Mexico for its conservation in perpetuity. To celebrate the success of all the efforts and to remind people of our close relation to the ocean, renowned Spanish artist Cristina Iglesias was asked to make a piece of art for the Island. Cristina decided to create a "Garden in the Sea", a labyrinth-like setting of various screens sunk into the sea, that nature will grow over, generating marine life.

Philosopher Walter Benjamin (1892-1940), a German Jew, flees Germany in 1932, during the turmoil preceding Adolf Hitler's definitive rise to power. On September 26, 1940, he dies in Portbou, a small village on the French-Spanish border. The unexplained end of a man who managed to avoid a horrible fate just to face death in very mysterious circumstances.
